— the story —

Winning Not Fighting is a new book written by Leon co-founder and CEO John Vincent and SiFu Julian Hitch, one of the world’s foremost masters of the ancient martial art Wing Tsun.

Part business guide, part memoir, part manual to Wing Tsun’s movements and philosophies, the book rethinks our contemporary notions of what constitutes success.

Winning Not Fighting challenges many of our preconceived ideas about success in both business and everyday life to give a radical rethinking of how we ought to look at ourselves and at the world. And it offers a real-life case study of these ideas in practice within Leon Restaurants.

With practical solutions and actions that we can apply in our lives right now, Winning Not Fighting shows how Wing Tsun’s ancient ideas, developed and refined over 1,500 years, contains within it a way of thinking and being that are in fact a toolbox for modern life.
